DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES

Under the direction of the Director of Communications, does the work involved in helping to collect, put into proper form, and disseminate information and materials to ethnic outreach organizations, individual constituents and community groups; does related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience

Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree. One (1) year of experience in the collection, analysis, preparation, and dissemination of information in a public relations and/or public information program in a public or private agency or organization. NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience on a year-for-year basis. NOTE: A Master's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or English may be substituted for the one (1) year of required experience.

Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
